Cars do that when driven into trees. Drivers, too.

I have read somewhere before that the quality and fit and finish of Tesla cars are akin to Yugo cars. I believe it too.

What is the quality of Tesla cars?

Overall fit and finish is decent. Better than a Toyota, not as good as a
Mercedes, on the whole. Interior feels a little lightweight but not terrible.

It's a very fun car to drive; low speed torque means it just comes off the
line like a rocket. The limited running time is a problem, though.

The thing is, they are building them in small enough quantities that getting
good body fit should be easy. It's when you have to gear up to Corolla-level
production runs that everything tends to go wrong.

I thought the fit and finish was excellent - in a minimalist kind of
way. I was impressed. It's pretty big inside. The paint was perfect.
OTOH, this was in a Tesla showroom so it better be pretty much perfect.
I thought it looked like a 70,000 dollar car - not that I have much
experience with cars of that sort.
