Navigation System CD trouble
I have a 200 740i and the cd for the navigation system is always ejecting
itself. I have cleaned the CD. Any help would be greatly appreciated Matt

Do you have the CD version or the DVD? If it's DVD it says so on the unit.

I just bought the car and it work 2 or three times but doesnt work now so I
think it is probably not a DVD. I will check though. Any other input would be great. THANKS!!

Err... The DVD Navigation Computers read both CD & DVD based map discs...
It is more likely that there is a read error on that part of the disc which contains the map data of your location. Does it eject the disc in the same 'area' on the map or at random 'locations'? Sorry, I meant the other way around - sticking a DVD nav disc into a CD nav.

I even had the tech guys at my office burn the CD for me with no problem or
errors.

Did you ever receive an answer re your Nav CD? My 740 started experiencing
the same problem last week and I am totally dependent on my NavSystem. Hoping it would be something simple, or should I just take it to the dealer?
