Plug wires

Anybody know where I can get some plug wires for my 98 GT for a decent
price? I've checked eBay for Ford Racing 9mm wires... $90 buy it now + $8
shipping. Seems a tad high to me.

Why not OEM? It aint like the OEM has a history of being crap! Most last 8-
10 years in low-maintained cars

Best way to high profit margin: slap a "Racing" label on it

I went with OEM... and if these OEM wires are shot after 20k miles I'm going
to be *****ed*. Testing 'em today.

IMO *most* people go nuts when changing wires, and they just do so because
"it seems like they should".

Barring mechanical damage, or grease soaking, etc. the only REAL way to see
how a wire is performing is to scope the motor. Most of the claims of
"WOW! I put on these new SuperGoFastRacingRiceyWires and I can *really*
feel the extra kick in the pants !"
are totally imaginary.

I've had vehicles with 14-15 yr old wires that ran (and scoped) just fine!.
There really is no reason (except as mentioned above) that a 98 should NEED
new wires yet.

Well Im looking for reliability.. I'm not expecting any HP/TQ gains :P.

I'm with BM.
I have had the best luck with OEM. It seems that they not only last longer,
they are sturdier and they FIT the first time.
Yup, they ain't cheap, but they are worth the etra $$.

Try pinging Musttanguy, see what he can do for you!
