Default RECALL for Airbag problems

I just saw on TV that there is an airbag recall for 3, 5, and X Series cars
of varying years.

The Passenger Side airbag does not deploy properly because cracks develop in
the seat sensor.

And here's the models:
WASHINGTON - BMW AG is recalling 200,000 vehicles over concerns that the
front passenger air bag may not deploy in a crash.

The German automaker says the recall involves the 2006 3 Series, the
2004-2006 5 Series, and the 2004-2006 X3 compact sport utility vehicle.

Yeah, too bad the e39 isn't included in this recall. This passenger
occupancy sensor (mat) is a common failure item on the e39 as well and
it cost me a pretty penny to have it replaced on my own dime.
