Just wondering my 04 TJ came with ATF+4 in the power steering system and my
wife's 04 WJ came with Power Steering fluid why, can ATF+4 be used instead? -- Coasty |

I wouldn't mix them or change out simply because there is too much to clean out and if the system was designed for one it may not work well with the other. I suspect the mfg was trying to save costs by using lots of the same fluids. -- DougW |

The stuff to use in any WJ is MS5931 for power steering fluid.
