Default 4Runner Sunroof Glass

Anyone have experience changing the sunroof glass in a 95 Toyota
4Runner? This one is cracked from a baseball landing on it and the
local autoglass place directed us to the Toyota dealer. The thought
of going there scares the heck out of me though in terms of where the
price might go so I thought I'd check here for input. TIA

Default 4Runner Sunroof Glass

Sorry for the multiple posts here. For some reason, I was getting a
server error through google telling me 'unable to access server' and
to try again in 30 seconds. Thanks for the info. Also for whatever
it's worth, the window isn't broken but rather 'spider' cracked and it
really surprised me that the glass shop would defer to the dealer - I
could only surmise that they had some experience with leaks or
something following a glass replacement and just didn't want to hassle
with it. Any idea from experience on cost? thanks again...

I replaced on in a 91 version. Glass alone cost $1200 AUD. Yeah I claimed
insurance.
try a wreckers if you dont have insurance.
Cheaper to weld up the hole nad repaint the roof! ;O)
