156 Gearbox "Sticky"

Fourth gear has started to get a bit "sticky". The gear can be selected and
unselected easily enough but it "feels" sticky...

....imagine all the other gears had a metal on metal kind of feel, but 4th
feels like there's a marshmallow stuck in the selector, and you get the
idea.

Any ideas?

The car is now at the main dealer's having "fourth gear and the gear cables
replaced". Luckily under warranty!
