Jeff,
"Free wheel" is then the lockers cogs slide apart releasing the outside wheel so it may speed up to cover more ground around the larger radius while turning. You know the point where you may gas it, say making a right turn and it instantly turns left into on coming traffic? I thought you used a Detroit? I think I remember she saying it was Detroits, and it released
turning her right. A spool does nothing extra, but stay where traction will let it. No surprises on the street either.
