Honnestly what could be the real price of the upgrade without the
Wrangler...?
without labors...

And then some. As someone that's restored many an old car, the point isn't
in recouping one's investment. The point is in the joy derived from doing
the work and using the vehicle. Be it an old jeep or an old cadillac.
Anyone that thinks there's any hope of recouping the money poured into it is
delusional. Sure, there's always the story of someone getting lucky but
99.99999% of the time it ain't gonna happen. Besides, the money dumped into
the vehicle keeps you from squandering it at the pub, track, casino or
(worse yet) on a boat. <grin>

Although it'll be entertaining to see what sort of idiot, if any, bids on
it.

On the subject of the original post,

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...item=451784972
7&category=6285

Can't see the rear pumpkin...listing claims "Dana 44 axles" but if it has
ABS, so the rear is still factory it's a 35, nothing indicates it's
aftermarket. And the front is obviously a 30.

36" SS's on Dana 30/35 axles. Yikes.

The Original Poster told of a six thousand dollar TJ at:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...68239 32&rd=1
Which is supercharged with a pair Dana 60s.
