Robert's VW repair on La Jolla Blvd south of Bird Rock, the gas station by
"Les Girls" on Rosecrans, Kearny Mesa, etc.

Back at ya, how did a few hundred gallons more of demand per week cause the
prices to get so high?

I've never had a new car either. The newest was a 'service loaner' that was
a year old and had 3500 miles on it.

Doesn't work either. Respect is earned through hard honest work and is
easily damaged.

I think his point was, how can a relatively few Mercedes diesels affect the
demand when hundreds of thousands of tractors are on the road?

They weren't pumping diesel in 1980, I had one key operated private
sales in Vista, the truck stops at Palomar Airport Rd. and I-5 Carlsbad,
a couple in Chula Vista, I-10 Corona, I-15 Riverside.
I wouldn't sign that lie with my real name either.

Geez! I thought you were smarter than that, but then as a bleeding
heart liberal, you probably think the oil companies are huge profits
while building supply points for ever Town, Dick and Harry. My four
hundred gallon tanks meant I could choose which city to fuel in.
