One Piece Axle
I have the Crown axles for my CJ5 AMC 20 and i need to get the bearings
off...how do i do it? Also i need a Brake Backing plate, where do i find one or does anyone want to sell one? Kevin 82 cj5 on 35"s, 8k warn, full cage,I6 |

Same as the two piece, or any other non "C" clip axle. Access the
bearing plate through the flange hole, pull the axle with chain inertia or slide hammer. Cut the retaining ring and press on a new bearing: http://www.billhughes.com/03TJrearWbearing.pdf This two piece is missing the backing plate, plate: http://billhughes.com/dana35c/amc20dana44axles.jpg that was probably transferred to the new one piece.
