Default 1969 Mustang Ignition Wiring Question

Usually it's the 10 ga. (thickest) red one. This wire would connect to
the starter solenoid bolt where the battery cable bolts on at the fender
via a fuse link wire. The fuse link wire will be a 14 ga with a loop on
the bolt end and a fat rubber tube type crimp connector where it hooks
to the harness wire.

If you have no power in this wire, suspect the fuse link has blown. It
might not 'look' blown, but if you pull on it or bend it it should flop
around.

Or just the typical bad connection on that bolt can interrupt the
connection.

Some auto parts stores and dealers will sell the fuse link wire by the
foot. If blown, you should crimp in a new piece the same length. They
need to be crimped, solder can damage them.
