Default K & N Air Filter Questions

Wipe your finger on the inside of the tube that runs between the stock
paper air filter and throttle butterfly, it'll be the last time it is clean
if you install a K&N.

Default K & N Air Filter Questions

Just remember this. More power, means more air is required. KN has larger
air passages, thus a grain of dirt will make it past the KN an not the stock
filter. I have a KN, and really not that impressed with it. When I get rid
of it, there are new ones on the market, similiar to stock, that are reusable.
If your about longevity, the stock is the way to go. This is a topic hashed
out over and over. Skyslider, why not do a search on this topic here.
you'll find months of reading on this topic, and nothing has canged. more
air means more dirt. On my motorcycle, a KN moves so much more air, that a
rejet is recomended to keep it running correctly.....

And you won't very often.

And don't forget that Bill lives for taking the opposite side in nearly
everything.

K&N is recommended and endorsed by some very well known racers and car
folks who have the technical expertise to know good from bad. And they
actually /use/ them themselves, not just endorse them for money.

For every 100 people who endorse them, there will always be one who
doesn't.

That is the the most false statement I have ever read.
Just pure BS.
I run a Mini ralley car with a 1293cc all steel engine150bhp and the
same engine oil and gearbox are shared.
{Or is some **** going to tell me that is not so.}) and I use K&N
filters for my intake, oil, and fuel filtration needs.
Full of **** is all I can say. My intake runners are as clean as clean
can get, no grit...

Stupid people post stupid bull****.
