Default Politics and guns are Not in this group's Charter

"Welding an axle on the trail"? Gosh, you hardly ever see people weld axles
any more, let alone on the trail. Where I live, if it is that bad, we
usually call a wrecker, or leave it for the Snow Gods to play with.

What kind of place do you live in, where you can't have dogs?

You sound like one of those "liberals", that Bill is always going on about.

If it weren't for the gun nuts, you'd be having tea and crumpets and driving
on the wrong side of the road.
With all of the off topic discussions here why would you single out politics
and guns? Without moderation you will have to deal with the off topic
discussions. Do what I do, read the header, if it's something I don't care
about, I hit the delete key.

Kate I think Mike was more making reference to the post that deal with
Bill's gentles and the sexual habits of goats.

The post about the bear was actual interesting for a bit, then I gave up
reading due to my lack of interest in guns,, I believe if its worth killing
then do it right, use a m60 or something bigger .

Ok now back to the jeep stuff ...

Default Politics and guns are Not in this group's Charter

My old '80 Bronco was setup with a high amp alternator/welder for just that
purpose. I never needed it with my D44 front and 9in rear, but I have welded
lots and lots of frames, and CJ and Samurai axles to get 'em back home.

Default Politics and guns are Not in this group's Charter

In the past the whole group can get taken over by your US politics and
guns and advertisers and Bill's lovers from other groups.

One or two posts are one thing, but when every post is about off topic
crap, then the group is no longer worth reading for Jeep enthusiasts.

The Charter needs to be posted now and then to keep it valid.

Too bad You took it as a personal assault.

Bye now,

Mike

Default Politics and guns are Not in this group's Charter

VERY well said girl.....good job. this group does a great job of staying on
topic. jeepers are in general, outdoorsmen and outdoorsmen typically enjoy
hunting and firearms in general. so the conversation strays a little once
in awhile.....SO WHAT. it still stays on topic better than any other group
i read and nobody is forced to click on any thread.

stop whining and trying to control content. this group is made up of
jeepers and jeepers are typically outdoorsmen who enjoy hunting and guns in
general. in fact, most jeepers in here take their jeeps into remote
locations where firearms are important. maybe you cant relate to firearm
ownership because you arent born with that FREEDOM. maybe youve had a bad
experience with firearms. whatever the reason, firearms are as important as
recovery gear (moreso!).

by the very guidelines YOU posted, this thread isnt about jeeping either.

Most do take it personally when you insult us and call us gun freaks.

There IS no other way to take it.
