Yup - anyone who didn't unplug their PC, had everything wiped out too.

Next weekend will be phone cleaning day.

It is recommended that you place plastic bags over the headsets of all
your phones as they'll be using compressed air to clean out the fiber
optic cables that make up 99% of all phone systems these days.

And wear foil-lined helmets to block the alpha waves.

Probably a Google Groups glitch.

Both rec.autos.driving and rec.autos.tech had previous discussions off to
the right, but showed no new posts, and showed a total of 0 posts for the
group.

After all, it's still Groups2 beta, which means issues are still probably
being worked out.

So for immediate newsfeeds, I just use a newsreader. The added benefit is
that it does offer some filtering capabilities with respect to off-topic
posts, spam, or persistent flamewars.
