Free???????? Before I bought prorated Arizona plates it cost me
seventy five bucks to drive the hundred miles from the scales at the
California border to Phoenix. And that just instance of the extra road
taxes I paid each day!

Gawd, I guess so!
The F two-fitty that lives here earns it's keep.

At only a 3/4 ton truck, this summer we made several trips with just under
two tons a piece in the back of it.
Hauling rock, gravel, sand and landscaping materials. If you don't work a
truck, why have it?

That's now before everyone and their brother are required to use.
Geez don't you have any concept as to why your home cost so much? It's
simple supply and demand!

And you think our politicians won't get their fingers in there?
Saying something like it costs more to regulate, and monitor.

Old trucker's never die they just get a new peter built.
My '78 Peterbuilt conventional still had the head light outside on
the fenders like a Real tractor.
The last picture had the five hundred horse Mack V8 and smoke would
just roll off the driver. I don't remember dropping a gear on Tejon or
Cajon out of Shakys. Three position jake on the pedal, I could shift
faster than most four wheelers.
