trunk space in older beetle

You might be more lucky then. Puerto Vallarta is more on the beaten path that Playa del Carmen.

One parge suitcase in the trunk.... the other one in the back seat.... You
could also put a hat box and a makeup case in the trunk along with that
suitcase (remember the picture on the manual.... a regular rectangular
suitcase, a round one, and a small one.) My '64's manual does not have a
description of the trunk, but I recall my '67's used to.... long ,long ago,
in a state far, far away.
