leaky A/C compressor shaft seal
Refrigerant oil is visible on the threads outside the center shaft.
Can just the seal/gasket be replaced? Or does the whole compressor need replacing? 1995 Chevy S-10 pickup. |

leaky A/C compressor shaft seal
The seal can be replaced. The last time I did this many years ago I was told by several parts stores that I needed a new compressor, but I finally found a place that had a seal kit.
