Those *.test ones are relays, I'm guessing. You didn't get those email
from the poster!

.............I'm on my wife's desktop now while I'm running McAfee on my C

VBS/Psyme C:\WINDOWS\...\OA2VFMP\sia[1]

......and also:

HTML/Ebscam C:\WINDOWS\...\657C50BE\wbk8175.TMP

The scan is still running.

On my laptop:
Ad-Aware found 8 problems and fixed them.
Spybot Search-And-Destroy found 42 problems and fixed them.
McAfee Enterprise 7.1.0 is scanning local drives now...

Ok, sorry for the tone.. I just got off the phone with Scott who runs
site, and It'll be turned off shortly for a whole lot of patch upgrades
to fix all the holes.

Oh I know that. I just can't understand why I got them as emails since I
don't even use an email program to read the group - I access it via
talkaboutautos.com.
Very strange...
BTW David; exactly how do they determine which is the *western* spiral
arm? Western in relation to what?

No problem here. Heck you can tell by the subject (& my addendum) that
I've had a bad day or two recently - LOL!

Some of these hackers are smart enough to try parsing addresses for the
obvious. Some harvesters do it. I don't know if your email address really is
"imangeloneAThotmailDOTcom" but parsing AT and DOT is pretty simple. If they
get it wrong, big deal. It's about percentages.

Yeah; I was thinking that was too simple a fix (had just the straight
email before). Guess I just need to add something like "yourpanties" (I
forget who does that). But then maybe they'll parse that & other commonly
used words/phrases too. So random numbers & letters?

Scott (aka Muadib) does. If you knew him as long as I have you
wouldn't be at all surprised at that choice. He was the kind of
teenage boy fathers like me stay awake at night worrying about!:~(

(Or should I say he was the kind of teenage boy who should stay awake
at night worrying about fathers like me?)
