Default 73 LS4 exhaust

I have a stock exhaust system on my 73. Are there any replacement
mufflers that look stock that I can install to get a better sound?
Ecklers etc. don't have them.

Thanks,
Rick

Try http://www.allencorvetteexhaustsystems.com/ they may have what you need
or would like. The chambered system sounds bitching.

Three chanber flowmaster mufflers work great. You need a good muffler
shop to do the install and be sure to use the stock tips for that stock
look.

Hi,
I went through this same trouble a while back of trying to find a set of
mufflers for my '75 that wouldn't drive me out of the car with noise. I
read several posts regarding mufflers of different style and price that were
removed from vehicles because they were too loud. I almost bought the
flowmasters but they were entirely too loud on a pickup that the shop let me
listen to. Remember you are sitting right on top of the mufflers (almost).
I ended up with the turbo mufflers. They were mellow and not so loud that I
couldn't hear the radio or anything else. Just my opinion. Good luck.

Ravin mufflers series 33. Looks like stock. GIves a bit more clearance
by the fenders. Sounds really great. Midas Muffler sells them. They
outflow Flowmasters. www.goravin.com for a sound clip . Git em !
