When they took the cast off to see if my bones had done any mending,
they could lift my leg and move it from side to side.....with the pivot
point being half way up my femur. That was when they decided a bone
graft was in order......After the op, I woke up with half a dozen pins
poking out the side of my leg that were attached to a couple of rails.
It looked like a TV antenna.

If the doctors and nurses hadn't kept going on about 'bloody motorcycles
are death traps' I probably would not have got back on one. But out of
sheer bloody mindedness, I spent my ACC payout on a Ducati and have
never looked back.

As for the bedpans.....those nurses deserve a payrise!
