97 Intrepid "Check Engine" Light Codes 12 & 43?

A few weeks before my '97 intrepid is due for a NY inspection the check
engine light comes on. ARGH!! I did the on-off-on-off-on ignition thing
and the returned numbers we

1-2-4-3-5-5

I assume this means I have two reasons why my check engine light is on
12 and 43. True?

Can anyone point me in the direction of what these codes mean?

Any recommendations on how to get this inspected in one pass???

Hi...

Ignore the 12; ignore the 55, which leaves you with 43.

43 indicates a cylinder misfire.

If you want to know which particular cylinder you'll have to have
someone do a proper scan.

Or, if the timetable indicates, maybe just time for plugs and wires
etc...
