Nate, I saw a segment of Two Guys Garage (or whatever the actual name is) not long ago where they were installing a turbo kit on a pickup. I was amazed in the difference in technology now versus a few years ago. The turbo hangs under the car, replacing the muffler (which is no longer needed). The air charge travels nearly the length of the truck and apparently gets an intercooler effect. Oil lines run to the turbo to make it live. Looked simple and cheap. I have been told that if you keep the boost below about 13-14 psi, most engines will tolerate this. |

Gosh, I said simple and cheap. Must have been on a binge...Simple yes, easy
too, but probably not cheap. Nothing is. |

Some will grenade over 7 PSI or so.
