1995 Jetta doesn't run in rain
Guarantee that it is the coil that sits up on the firewall. The darn thing
develops cracks. Let it dry out, start it up, and spray a small stream of water on the coil. It will die immediately. Go to GermanAutoParts.com for a new one. Unfortunately, the germans put the nuts for the bolts that hold the coil inside the tray under the leaf guard. Why they didn't weld them on beats me. Just one more aggravation!!!
