Updating C4 bumpers to 91-96 style
I am hoping someone can provide some insight into updating my 85
C4 to the 91-96 style. I am using all genuine GM parts. The issue I am having is with mounting the 91-96 style driving lights into my 85 fron impact absorber bar. Either I am missing a part for the fog light to latch into or I need the 91-96 impact absorber. If you have done this conversion, I would appreciate it if you could post your response. Thanks Chris

YOu either have to get the impact absorber or modify yours to accomodate

Thanks for the reply. The new style fog lights have the hinge side (inboard) and then a latch type side (outboard). I can't figure out how the outboard latch works. There is nothing to latch it too? The old style had a plate and screws went in thru the back side of the inpact absorber bar. Thanks Chris
