I've lost my title on this thing. It is vaguely familiar and I should know
it but I'm having a brain fart. Looks English. Probably mid-60's era, possibly with Italian coachwork. It does not seem to be any sort of AC Ace nor an Alvis but I think it'll turn out to be one of that general sort. -- Paddy's Pig |

Isn't this a Siata? I'll have a look and get back to you.

Yes, it's a 1952 Siata 208S Spider by Michelotti. It's one of the prettiest
of the open Italian cars ever, I think, and this picture really shows it off. Max "Padraig" > wrote in message ... > I've lost my title on this thing. Bingo! You get a gold star. Yes - it is pretty. I guess I was halfway right - it DOES have Italian coachwork but I was wrong about the English origins. I'd have never found this answer. The body was made by Vignale. But like was the case with a lot of
Vignale bodies of the early 1950s it was designed by Michelotti, who was an independent consultant at the time. André.
