Default Sports Car Chellenge for F1-C

Hi All,
I recently "re-discovered" SCC for F1-C.
What is the general consensus about this mod? Is it fairly realistic?
Not having driving a sports car IRL it's a little difficult for me too tell
of course but mainly I'm interested in how people feel it compares to GTR.
There is an overlap in some of the cars (Vettes, Ferraris, Vipers Etc) but I
have mainly been sticking to the P1 and P2 cars.
I ran some laps in Virtual-LM's sports car mod and found the overal feel
of SCC superior. I do enjoy the older sports cars of the LM mod but I found
the graphics a little bit lacking compared to SCC. There are a few slight
annoying bugs in LM, also.
Is there a following out the for SCC? What about tracks? What about a
SCC rank site link GPL etal?
Any information?
Thanks,
Timmy .

It's not rFactor.

You are a week too late my friend. The forums for f1c and it's mods have
been a virtual ghost town since rFactor came out. That does NOT mean it's
dead, but interest has severly dropped off. There are dozens and dozens of
tracks for F1c, many need ai fixes and there is a sticky thread in the
car/track editing forum for f1c that covers most of the problems.
F1rst2 is a matchmaking online app. But for the last several months only
2004 F1 mods have made any regular appearance there.
Some 2005 cars were released for SCC. You can find most of the info
he
http://forum.rscnet.org/forumdisplay.php?f=536

the most applicable threads are the car and track editing and the f1c mods.
(which has a section for RSDG and SCC)

The low-downforce stuff doesn't feel right to me, but the LMP cars are
pretty good imho.
