Winter? In Canada? I remember arriving in San Francisco one July evening
and thinking I'd never survive the cold. We were in the heat with the air conditioning on over on the Marin County side, turned the AC off on the Golden Gate bridge, turned the heat on at the end of the bridge, and when we stepped out of the car at the hotel the wind drove right through our clothes. That was July. I've had better evenings than that in mid winter in Edmonton. :-)) But I admit that it's pretty nice in Southern California at that time of year.
