I've found that if I lunge the product at the reader it works better than passing it over the sensor. Prhaps fear is involved. -- Cheers, Bev -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- What if there were no hypothetical questions? |

In that particular situation, since the 247 to 18 alternative is only an hour longer, and much more pleasant anyway, I only need to know that the traffic is stopped, as indicated by a red color on Google Nav. But I suspect that particular traffic jam was all over the radio news at the time. -- Ciao, Paul D. DeRocco Paul mailto |

Well, maybe I'm weird, but I love driving across the vast quiet desert on straight empty roads, even at night. The only mildly annoying parts are bits of Apple Valley and Palmdale. I'll take that over heavy, agressive traffic on CA-60 or I-10 or I-210 any day. -- Ciao, Paul D. DeRocco Paul mailto |

The desert is so.... desolate. WRT the more heavily occupied bits of Apple Valley, let me say that I moved out here and ended up living on the edge of town, with almost no one living outside our immediate neighborhood, and I hated it. I live near the hospital now, and it's nice to be in the middle of everything. YM, of course, MV. -- Steve Sobol - Programming/WebDev/IT Support |
