Type 1 or Type 4 engine drawings and blue-prints
Hi all
Most of you have seen this subject before but please humor me! I am also desperately looking for type 1 and type 4 engine drawings, in any format. (PDF, Dwg, DXF, Acis or Para solids). If any of you are willing to part with this info, it will be greatly appreciated. I am in the process of fitting a type-4 engine to a type-1 trans and chassis. Please email me what ever you've got on dimensional drawings or 3D drawings. Albert Olivier |

Albert,
how about bentley manuals? t4 hooks up to t1 trany just fine, as long as you have the correct flywheel. check out http://forums.aircooledtechnology.com/index.php and http://www.shoptalkforums.com/index.php there is tons of info on the conversion that you are working on. I am in process of building a t4 engine for exactly the same reason. I poked around thesamba.com but couldn't find any animations. I am actually in the process of looking for a VW engine animation for a project I am working on. The best I have found is on howstuffworks.com but it's not good enough :-( -- They have the internet for computers now? -Homer Simpson |
