Another wrong assumption. Have I mentioned you're good at those? Ah yes. I guess I did. No. Bill was a classic car specialist. The bulk of his business was with Hollywood types who had cash for automotive investments. His forte was Packards and Duesenbergs, Cadillacs, Lincolns & the like. This particular RH rear fender he's working on may very well be the one you see on the attached Packard DCP...or at least one like it. Bill joined the heavenly choir a couple of decades ago and is missed by his family and friends. He was a past president of the Southern California Classic Car Club and involved in charity work as well. He was a good man, and a lot of fun to be around. By the way Jer I know you enjoy stressing to your stooge that all I ever shoot is hotrods and customs --- and while I undoubtedly DO do some of that, you've noticed haven't you that a high percentage of my work encompasses classics and high end Euro exotics? Perhaps even a majority of my work is represented by those categories...not that there's anything wrong with rods and customs...but So Cal is a hotbed of car shows and many of them are pretty classy events. Z~ and I have the good luck to be in pretty fertile territory. This realization may be uncomfortable for you because I know you like to put labels on people and stuff them in boxes and it obviously doesn't bolster your argument that "all the Pig ever shoots is" (c'mon now, say it, however sneeringly) "the low end stuff". Oops. Another Jerry myth exposed. Sorry. (Don't you just resent the hell out of it when you get attacked right back?) Don't worry about it. Our conversations are ending so that I can go back to simply contributing and learning from my friends when they post. That's all I ever wanted. Meanwhile your stooge is sittin' over there just eatin' up everything you tell him. He apparently believes it. Even about photo processing, which is to laugh. Let's not kid each other genius --- you have no concept what creates a jaggy or a ziggy zoggy or anything else and you have no idea how to cure them either. You can't even get a decent picture out of your pretty damn good camera so that pretty much tells us all we need to know about your skills. The hysterical part about your "skills" is that you used to pontificate to others who would listen (or pretended to listen) about fine points of Exporting to the JPEG Optimizer and other blather about Chroma Subsampling, as though you'd been doing it for years and had made an extensive study of it before determining --- through your superior intellect and by scientific method --- that YCbCr 1x1 1x1 1x1 was better than YCbCr 1x2 1x1 1x1 or any of the other possible iterations. What a dumbass. I've heard ducks fart underwater before. I sincerely wish you two were as worthwhile to this NG as ALL THE REST who are currently active and the many who just flat ran out of patience with you and left. -- Paddy's Pig |

So long, been nice talkin' at ya, PIG! -- HP, aka Jerry "Never complain, never explain" - Henry Ford II |

Is this the same Borzi Auto Body, that was located in Highland Park on Figueroa in the early 80s, if so do you know where they moved to?
