Engine Air Filters
I was looking at the
Purolator PA44727 PureONE Air Filter for my 99 JGC. Anyone know if this filter is any good? Or is it overpriced nonsense? |

Engine Air Filters
IMHO, the filter you need is what the manufacturer recommends OR it's
aftermarket paper equivalent. No "pre filters", no K$N (or others of that type), or any other "super" filter. Why? Stock paper filter cleans about 98% of the dirt out of the air going into the engine and will flow all the air your engine can use plus a lot more even if the engine is modified. So, with today's economy and fuel prices, buy what the factory engineers say is "good enough" and save the extra $$ for something fun.
