ME: In my 1970 built BB Vette., i get 13 mpg town and 14.5 highway. 4
speed M21.

I've got a 78 w/ L82 and the RPM sounds right; somewhere around 3200 at 60-
65 mph. I get about 12-13 mpg and nothing has ever changed that ... have
installed high performance plug wires, used split-fire plugs, K&N air
filter, higher voltage coil, etc., nothing. Have gotten up to 15 mpg on
long trips though. To make it worse I've got the smaller 13(?) gallon gas
tank.
