Flaps!
OMG - wonder of wonders, while cleaning out the garden shed I came upon
a box of perfect, hot-painted, rust-free flaps, connecting rods, thermostat, spring and fasteners, all packed nicely in dry newspaper. ....but I was looking for a distributor.
